Join us on September 17 downtown in Ottawa for Take Back the Night as we stand with survivors and work toward a future free from sexual and gender-based violence.
Take Back the Night grew out of protests against violence against women in the 1970s, including early marches in the United States, and has since become a global movement for safety, justice and survivor-centred change.
This movement matters deeply to us.
At Cornerstone, 218 people accessed our shelter between January and the end of July this year after fleeing abuse. Behind every number is a person whose life has been impacted by violence.
Save the date. Bring a friend. Join us. 💜
