Eccles Residence
Cornerstone was thrilled to open our newest supportive housing residence for women and gender-diverse people in Ottawa in 2024. Eccles is located on the edge of Western Centretown and China Town.
Residence Features:
- There are 46 supportive housing units for women and gender diverse individuals over the age of 18 with moderate to high acuity, including 12 fully accessible units (3 per floor).
- 30% of units are dedicated to Indigenous People and we work with community partners to support their unique needs.
- A peer-support harm reduction worker from Ottawa Inner City Health works out of Eccles to provide support to residents 2 days per week.
- Residents at Eccles have the option to participate in a food program which provides 3 meals per day.
