Booth Residence

Our Booth Street Residence opened in 2012 and is located on the edge of Chinatown and Western Centretown. This residence is unique in that it offers an Aging-at-Home program as well as supportive housing.

Aging-at-Home Program Features:

  • 20 units are geared towards supporting senior women (age 55 and above) with complex challenges including the need for additional medical support.
  • Bachelor style apartments, which includes kitchenette and bathroom (including accessible shower).
  • Health and mental health supports provided by Ottawa Inner City Health.
    • Nurse on-site five days per week
    • Client Care Worker on site 24 hours per day
    • Personal care supports
    • Medication Management
    • Meal Program

Supportive Housing Program Features:

  • 22 units are geared towards supporting women with complex needs stemming from trauma, mental health challenges or substance use (age 18 and above).
  • Bachelor style apartment with full kitchen and bathroom (bathtub).
  • Optional meal program.
  • Accessibility supports (Elevator, accessibility buttons, wheelchair ramp).
