Make a Purple Promise
A gift in your will is more than a donation. It is a simple yet powerful way to create a lasting impact that extends beyond your lifetime. It reflects what matters most to you and the legacy you wish to leave behind.
By remembering Cornerstone Housing for Women in your estate plans, you help to ensure that the care and support of the women we serve continues for years to come. Legacy gifts of every size make a meaningful difference and help us continue serving our community with strength and stability.
How to make your promise
There are two ways we suggest leaving a legacy gift:
Leave a Percentage of Your Estate
A gift based on a percentage of your estate ensures your legacy grows alongside the value of your assets and can help balance support for both loved ones and charitable causes.
Ex. "I give to Cornerstone Housing For Women / Le pilier logements pour femmes, CRA registered charity number 83725-8854-RR0001, currently located at 314 Booth Street, Ottawa, ON. K1R 7K2, __% of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to be used for its general charitable purposes."
Leave a Specific Amount
A fixed-dollar gift allows you to designate a precise amount that reflects your commitment to the future of our mission.
Ex. "I give to Cornerstone Housing For Women / Le pilier logements pour femmes, CRA registered charity number 83725-8854-RR0001, currently located at 314 Booth Street, Ottawa, ON. K1R 7K2, the sum of $__ to be used for its general charitable purposes."
No matter which option you choose, your gift will help create a lasting impact for generations to come.
