Purple Tie Gala – virtual edition

Our third annual Purple Tie Gala is back! Save the date Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 7:00 PM.

Get your best purple attire on and get ready to paint the night purple with your housemates, friends, and family for the second year of our Purple Tie Gala Virtual Edition. Last year our amazing community came out in a big way to raise $73,000 for Cornerstone Housing for Women.

Our host Joseph Cull is back for the third year in a row, alongside our new executive director Sarah Davis who will co-host this year’s show.

Get ready for a night of culinary creativity, live tunes from local artists, and a silent auction to bid the night away.

Tickets are sold out.

A big thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket for the annual Purple Tie Gala 2021.

If you didn’t get the chance to get your ticket, don’t worry you can still join us on Saturday, October 2nd at 7:00 PM and tune in to our free-to-watch show. Click “Going” on our Facebook Event, and you will receive a notification when we go live or you can tune in to Rogers TV-Ottawa, channel 22.

Please, consider supporting the Purple Tie Gala by bidding on our online silent auction or you can send in a special donation to support more than 230 women that rely on our services each day. Starting September 21st, all donations made through this page will be matched (up to $12,500) thanks to incredible support from Livingston Wealth Management and MacDonald Wealth Management of RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and Emond Harnden LLP. Double your impact today!

New to this year’s gala – Online Silent Auction

This year we have included an Online Silent Auction with incredible items for you to bid on including: one of a kind jewellery, hotel stays, photo sessions and more!

The auction starts on September 16th at 1:00 pm and runs until the end of the gala on Saturday, October 2nd at 9:00 pm. Remember to bid early and bid often!

Funds raised from the online silent auction will go a long way to providing much-needed shelter and housing supports for women in Ottawa. Every year 1,000 women become homeless in Ottawa. Cornerstone has provided shelter to double the number of women it supported before the pandemic. The need is great.

Are you looking for a night out with good food and good views? Don’t wait any longer! Check out our online auction today.
