Cornerstone Housing for Women Welcomes New Executive Director
Ottawa ON - Cornerstone is pleased to welcome Anne Marie Hopkins as its new Executive Director effective June 9, 2025.
Anne Marie brings over 16 years of experience in community healthcare programming supporting diversity of vulnerable individuals across Ottawa.
Most recently, she served as the Director of Operations at Ottawa Inner City Health, providing strategic and operational oversight to a continuum of 24/7 community healthcare programs including to Cornerstone. Her expertise includes stakeholder relations, risk assessment and mitigation and strategic planning.
Prior to her role as Director of Operations, Anne Marie served as a Senior Manager at OICH for 7 years and an administrative coordinator for 5 years, all also working frontline social support worker positions at Shepard’s of Good Hope and the Salvation Army. She holds a Bachelors of Social Work from Carleton University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Fredericton.
Cornerstone has searched for an Executive Director for some time now and is pleased to finally have the expertise of Anne Marie! Her combination of frontline and leadership experience, complimented by her education, have made her a passionate and grounded leader, who seeks to make a meaningful impact in the social services space.
