Cornerstone hosts three main events throughout the year to help raise money for programs and services that provide supports to vulnerable women every day.
Purple Tie Gala
Cornerstone Housing for Women is hosting its fifth annual Purple Tie Gala back in-person on October 14, 2023!
Start your fall off the right way – at a fresh and funky gala at the National Art Centre! This is an indoor event, but we have two beautiful terraces available for you to enjoy outdoors throughout the night.
We came back in person last year and were able to raise over $143,000! We are excited to celebrate with you in person on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

Coldest Night of the Year CNOY
It’s cold out there. CNOY charity walk returns to Ottawa’s Westboro Village — or your very own neighbourhood! We’re running a virtual event this year, which means you can walk it on our special Westboro route, or wherever you are.
COVID-friendly and suitable for the whole family, we welcome you to come together with your community to raise funds to help us help local women in need of support.
We successfully raised more than $86,000 for our CNOY walk in 2023.
