MacLaren Residence
MacLaren Residence provides flexible, individualized services that are tailored to each individual’s needs with wrap-around supports. We aim to support women in a way that is person driven, enables independence, offers dignified, respectful, meaningful support in an inclusive and strength based manner in the women’s home.
MacLaren is a combination of affordable, long-term living with coordinated supports for 20 women encouraging as much independence as possible.
Residence Features:
- Each resident has a private room with shared communal living areas
- Residents have legal Rights and Responsibilities under the Landlord and Tenant Board
- Provides nutritious food options, unit cleanliness support, opportunities for connection with family and peers, recreational activities and a wonderful internal, safe community
- Support women through multiple approaches including: life skills coaching, medication support, crisis and suicide intervention and management, referrals for services and supports, personal recovery (abuse/trauma) supports, substance support, and healthy relationships
MacLaren Residence also provides crisis support to identified Outreach clients
