Donate items

The generous donations from our community allow us to provide necessary items that give comfort and improve the lives of the women we serve.

Our In-Kind Donation Program operates out of 314 Booth Street and is managed by the Resource Development Team. All donations are received at our Booth Residence and distributed to our 5 housing locations.

Our In-Kind donation program operates Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm.

Please contact our Resource Development team to make an appointment to drop-off your donation at or by calling us at Tel: 613-254-6584, Ext. 521. Please remember to wear a mask!

Please note, our program may be put on pause during provincial stay-at-home orders. Thank you.

Starter kit program

When a woman moves out of a Cornerstone Residence and into her own apartment, she has almost nothing. You can transform her house into a home by contributing to a Starter Kit of basic household items she’ll need.
Each kit contains the basics that a woman needs when setting up a new home. These kits transform four walls and a roof into a cozy and peaceful home. It’s especially important that all items in a Starter Kit be unused – for women who have endured so much, new houseware means a great deal.

A Starter Kit usually includes:

  • Kitchen supplies: Pots and pans, frying pans, dish soap, and pot scrubbers
  • Bedding: Duvets and sheets
  • Cleaning supplies: Mop, broom, dust pan, and toilet brush
  • Hygiene products: Toilet paper and hand soap
  • First aid: Band aid and antibiotic cream
